Histology is the study of cells and tissues under a microscope, also known as microanatomy. The course is organized into lectures and laboratories. During the laboratory sessions, microscopic slides (from student slide boxes and/or demonstration slide), electron microimages, and/or other teaching materials are utilized to study the development and structure of cells, tissues and organs.
